A Juicy Summer

Fragrance that is….

Alas, I might not be able to glamorously jet off to the Mediterranean at the drop of a hat, but I can recreate a light, juicy, citrus drenched fragrance to waft around me whilst writing in a beautiful notebook and with a refreshing drink to hand.

To make this delightful Mediterranean-inspired room fragrance, blend together the following essential oils:

4 drops Bergamot, Citrus bergamia

4 drops Sweet orange, Citrus sinensis

4 drops  Lemon, Citrus limon

4 drops  Mandarin, Citrus reticulata

Diffuse or just leave out in a shallow dish to catch the citrussy wafts passing by. Sit back and enjoy.

As always, please use essential oils with considered care, just because something is natural it does not mean its safe. Always consult with a qualified aromatherapist if unsure especially pregnant women.

  1. What a lovely idea for capturing summer in a bottle! I love how you have created a natural alternative to synthetic room fragrances. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, citrus essential oils are believed to uplift qi and brighten the spirit — perfect for those warm afternoon creative sessions. A refreshing drink and a beautiful notebook sound like the ideal self-care ritual!

    1. Thank you so much for lovely comment 🙂 (I am sorry for the late reply – some of my comments ended up in the spam folder!). Citrus oils are so uplifting, I would love to know more about what qi is? I love learning new things!
