There is just something special about a new notebook. It suggests a fresh start, new possibilities and hope.
In this new notebook, things will be clear and concise, not muddled and doubtful, nor will it have pages ripped out in disgust. It will be fresh and exciting and raring to go.
At least that’s how it feels for a short moment!
I am finding myself more and more drawn to paper and pen these days. It’s easier for me to flick back through my notes in my notebook than scrolling through text on my laptop (this could be due to the fact that I need a new laptop!). It also gives me a good excuse to purchase a fresh new notebook (but only once I have used up the ones I already have – I have stuck to this 2026 goal at least!).
Anyway, its a new season so that definitely calls for a fresh new notebook!
